Mood boards, also sometimes called inspiration boards are ways that you as a designer can communicate your ideas to others. What kinds of imagery is associated with a project? What color palette / textures / materials / composition feel most appropriate to your concept?

A mood board is also a great way for you to gather ideas and sources in one place so that you can reflect upon them.
