Homework
1. Complete Assignment #1 - Postcards from HOME - Come to class with three postcards and one postage stamp.
2. Complete Mood Board for Memory Project on 15 x 20" sheet of illustration board
3. On a separate piece of drawing paper (or computer paper if working digitally) create a color palette (*minimum 7 colors) for your Memory Project. (Refer to the examples in the next post, Inspiration: Memory Color Palettes).
Your palette should include colors that relate to different aspects of your memory - both the physical environment of the memory and the feeling you get when thinking about the memory.
Once you have determined your palette you will name each color so that it communicates the mood of the color. For example, 'cotton candy pink', 'October sky blue', etc. Feel free to be creative and playful with your language in naming the colors. Look to Jesse Day's text, Line, Color, Form for help.
